Tulad ng kaguluhang nangyare kahapon sa FB, looks like nakarating na sa TUMBLR ang TV PATROL AND PT/MANGHIHILOT FIASCO. AND YES, we students studying or should i say DYING to be PHYSICAL THERAPISTS are very very offended.
Sabi ko nga kahapon, TV PATROL AND STUPID REPORTER, please take time to READ ALL THESE BOOKS AND ALL THESE NOTES (mind you, all of these were just for our third year / junior year. there are more additional bulky books and handouts come fourth year). THEN YOU TELL THE WORLD THAT MANGHIHILOT, MASAHISTA AND PTs are close to each other.
LET ME MAKE IT CLEAR. hindi kami nangbababa o nangtatapak ng ibang propesyon. though manghihilot and masahistas/masseuse are actually considered as our “kalaban” (cause sometimes they do further harm to our patients), WE STILL RESPECT THEM. Hindi namin sila binababa.
We just want to make it clear that PTs and MASSEUSE are two things that are clearly different.

REPOSTFrom TV Patrol episode yesterday (Sept. 25, 2011), at 02:55 of clip:” Pangarap ni Wena na maging isang physical therapist. Pero dahil sa kakulangan ng pera nagdesisyon itong mag-training sa TESDA (sa kursong) PINAKALAMAPIT SA PT, ETO AY ANG PANGHIHILOT”- Jasmine RomeroResponsible Journalism entails thorough RESEARCH before writing the news story. Media people should always consider the amount of influence they have to the viewing public. Such irresponsible and baseless statements strengthens the already existing notion that physical therapists are equivalent to manghihilot. If only the researcher, the segment producer, the news writer and editor, did their job correctly, then most probably they wouldn’t make such a degrading statement against the Physical Therapy profession.I condemn discrimination against Physical Therapists. And I stand up against this irresponsible statement.

This discrimination against PTs have gone way beyond the border. Kung alam nyo lang talaga kung ano ang inaaral namin. WE ARE CONSIDERED AS MINI DOCTORS, if hindi nyo alam.
